San Antonio has five historical missions that attract many tourists year round. Four of the missions are located in South San Antonio. Mission Concepción is located at 807 Mission Road and is one of the oldest unrestored stone churches in America. Concepción is a National Historic Landmark, and it is part of San Antonio Missions National Historic Park.

Located down the street from Mission Concepción is a mouth-watering restaurant called Rudy’s Seafood located at 4122 South Flores near Probandt. At Rudy’s, you can count on getting more than you pay for. For years, Rudy’s has been serving quality seafood at low prices.

As soon as you walk in the door, you will see the pride of San Antonio, the Spurs, plastered on the walls. A basic picnic set up with plastic tables and rolls of paper towels doesn’t seem like your average restaurant, but as soon as you bite into the fresh fish and shrimp, you understand why people keep coming back.

Rudy’s serves fish, shrimp, oysters and stuffed crab. If seafood is not what you’re craving, they have burgers and chicken fried steak that will surely satisfy your appetite. With a family friendly atmosphere, excellent food and great service, there is no way you can pass up Rudy’s Seafood.

Rudy’s is open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Rudy’s is closed on Sundays. Their phone is (210) 532-1315.
